The route proceeds along dirt roads, with <strong>ascents and descents<\/strong>, typical of the Tuscan hills, until reaching <strong>Castelfalfi<\/strong>, an <strong>ancient village<\/strong> characterized by an <strong>imposing castle<\/strong>, where it is possible to make a stop.<\/p>\n<p>From here we can continue with a more challenging route within the wood, or on a asphalt road, which is still very impressive. Arrived in <strong>San Vivaldo<\/strong> we immerse ourselves in the mystical atmosphere of the &#8220;<strong>Jerusalem of Tuscany<\/strong>&#8220;, eventually deciding for a brief stop.<\/p>\n<p>The route continues briefly on a <strong>paved road<\/strong> and then into the woods to reach the <strong>Sanctuary of Pietrina<\/strong>, where you can see the remains of an <strong>ancient castle<\/strong> and enjoy a <strong>unique view of Volterra<\/strong>.
